Lady Gaga domina premiação do Brit Awards 2010

Mesmo não sendo britânica, a cantora Lady Gaga foi a grande vencedora do Brit Awards 2010, evento que premia os melhores artistas do Reino Unido no ano. A americana ganhou todas as categorias destinadas aos estrangeiros: Melhor Álbum, Show e Revelação Internacional.

Sob seu chapéu bizarro, que cobria boa parte do rosto, Lady Gaga apresentou o evento junto de Robbie Wiliams, que não ganhou como Melhor Cantor, mas recebeu um prêmio especial por sua contribuição destacada à música.

Durante a apresentação, Lady Gaga fez uma homenagem e lembrou do estilista Alexander McQueen, que foi encontrado morto na última quinta-feira (11).

Além dos prêmios, diversos shows ao vivo contagiaram o público. Lily Allen abriu o evento, cantando The Fear. Na sequência, shows da boyband britânica JLS que levaram os prêmios de Revelação e Melhor Música e dos indies Kasabian, que foram eleitos o melhor grupo.

Houve também um dueto entre Dizzee Rascal e Florence & The Machine, apresentando o mash up da música You Got The Dirtee Love, uma mistura das músicas You Got The Love e Dirtee Cash. A canção será disponibilizada no iTunes nesta quinta-feira (17), para a juntar fundos à escola de música The Brit Trust. Jay-Z e Cheryl Cole também fizeram shows.
